Co-founded by Alexandra Fine and Janet Lieberman, Dame was designed around a mission to close the pleasure gap — the disparity in satisfaction that people with vulvas experience in the bedroom, versus their cis male counterparts. Dame launched its first product, Eva, which was the the most successful crowdfunded sex toy in history. Today, Dame continues to innovate for sexual wellness far beyond their product line. Through their activist efforts, community events, research arm (Dame Labs), and educational content, Dame serves as a guide to exploring wellbeing through pleasure and intimacy in a multitude of ways. Since the company’s founding in 2014, Dame has been featured on numerous occasions in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Vice, and more.
